Sell In Three Taps With The SimPOS Point Of Sale
Ring up a cash sale in three taps and add an item with two fields. Runs on the phone, tablet or computer you already have, works with any barcode scanner and thermal printer, and keeps taking money when the internet drops.

Take The Money In Three Taps
Tap, search or scan
Items are a grid of coloured tiles with the ones you actually sell in front. A barcode scan drops straight into the cart with no confirm step, and any keyboard-wedge scanner works with no configuration at all.
Cash, already counted
Pay opens with the tendered amount pre-filled to the exact total, so the most common sale in the shop is one more tap. Quick-cash chips cover the next 5, 10 and 50, and change due is in large type.
Split it any way they pay
Cash, mobile money, card and bank on the same screen, each with an optional reference. Split across several with a live remaining balance — it's a link on the payment screen, not a step in the flow.
Discounts and open prices
Order-level discounts from the cart, line-level inside the line editor, as an amount or a percent. Anything not in the catalogue goes through as a name and an amount.
It does not stop when the network does
Install it to the home screen and the catalogue comes with it. Sales queue on the device and sync the moment you reconnect, and a retry or a double-tap can never ring the same sale up twice.

Stock Lives With The Item, Not In Another App
Two fields, then Save
Name and price are the only things you have to type. Barcode, SKU, category, unit, cost, image, reorder level and tax status all sit behind one More tap — and the SKU generates itself if you leave it blank.
Stock lives on the item
There is no separate inventory screen. Opening stock is a field on the item form, and stock is a column in the list — tap the number, type the new one, pick a reason chip. The ledger still records all of it.
Import instead of typing
Drop in a CSV. A file of just name and price is valid; extra columns are used if they are there, and you see a preview before anything commits. Bulk receive handles a delivery of thirty items on one screen.
Low stock is a filter, not a screen
One chip on the list you are already looking at. Set a reorder level per item and it shows up there — and if a scan finds nothing, quick-add puts it in the cart and the catalogue at once.

Undo A Sale Without Calling A Manager
One action, not two
Nobody has to know whether something is a void or a refund. Pick what is coming back and give a reason — the server decides which one it was based on when the sale happened.
The stock follows the money
Restock is on by default for a return and forced for a cancellation, so the shelf count and the books never drift apart.
A refund receipt that links both ways
Tied to the original sale in both directions, so an auditor can walk it from either end.
Nothing is ever deleted
A cancelled sale stays visible with its reason and the person who did it. The day's totals update immediately, and the history is still there next year.

Know What The Day Did, From Your Phone
One screen, five date ranges
Today, yesterday, 7 days, this month, or your own range. Gross, discounts, tax, refunds and net, with a trend chart — and it is readable on a phone, because that is where you will check it.
Four breakdowns, same screen
Items, categories, payment methods and staff, as tabs rather than five separate pages. Reports were becoming a second app, so we made them one screen.
Profit, if you want it
Switch on cost tracking and a profit column appears everywhere it makes sense. Leave it off and it never appears at all.
Scoped to the person looking
A cashier sees their own numbers, a manager their store, the owner everything — enforced on the API, not hidden in a menu.
One export button
It exports whatever is on the screen, as CSV. Your figures are your business's record, not ours.

Sell With The Hardware You Already Have
There is nothing to buy to get started and nothing to install. SimPOS runs in the browser, prints through the browser’s own dialog, and treats a barcode scanner as what it is — a keyboard. Plug it in and start scanning.

Built For How A Small Shop Actually Works
No shift to open before the first sale. No stock check that blocks a customer paying. No setting you have to find before the till works.
It Costs Nothing Today
SimPOS ships free. Not a trial with a clock on it — free, with no card, and nothing that can expire underneath a shop that is already using it.
Free
SimPOS is free while we’re getting started — no card, and no trial counting down.

The Things Shops Ask Us
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is no trial clock counting down. While no price has been introduced, every shop on SimPOS is simply free — no card, nothing that can expire underneath you, and nothing to cancel. If we do introduce pricing later, shops that signed up while it was free are kept free, and in any case nobody is cut off the same day.
What happens when the internet goes down?
You keep selling. SimPOS installs to the home screen with your catalogue cached, so sales are taken locally and queue up. They sync as soon as the connection is back, and a retry or a double-tap never creates a duplicate sale.
What do I need to run it?
A phone, tablet or computer with a browser. It is one responsive app: a phone gets a bottom-sheet cart, a tablet a 60/40 split, a desktop three columns. Thermal printing goes through the browser's print dialog on 58mm or 80mm, and any keyboard-wedge barcode scanner works without configuration.
Can I get my items in without typing them all?
Drop in a CSV. A file of just name and price is valid; extra columns are used if they are there. You see a preview before anything is committed, and you can type opening stock right on the item form.
Can a cashier see my takings?
No. A cashier's app has two destinations, Sell and Sales, and reports are scoped to the person — a cashier sees their own figures, a manager their store, the owner everything. It is enforced on the API, not hidden in a menu.
What if a cashier rings something up wrong?
They pick Cancel or Return on the sale, choose what is coming back and give a reason. The stock goes back, a linked refund receipt is produced, and the day's totals update immediately. Nothing is deleted — the original stays visible with its reason and its author.
Can I run more than one shop from one account?
Yes. Add a second store and the store switcher appears; until then it does not exist. Staff can be scoped to the store they work in, and reports roll up across all of them for the owner.
Can I get my data out?
Any report exports as CSV, and you can export your data from your account settings. It is your business's record, not ours — and a shop that stops paying goes read-only rather than losing access to its own history.
